  • Experimental Observation of Alcohol Extractive of Folium Eucommiae on the Rats with Hyperlipidemia Fatty Liver

    摘要:目的:通过建立高脂血症脂肪肝动物模型,探讨杜仲叶醇提取物(alcohol extractive of Folium Eucommiae,AEFE)对脂肪肝的防治作用。方法:高脂饮食8周加维生素D36×105IU/kg分3d腹腔注射,建立大鼠高脂血症脂肪肝动物模型。各给药组从造模第3周开始分别灌胃给予洛伐他汀(4mg·kg-1·d-1)、 AEFE(70、140和420mg·kg-1·d-1),共给药6周。各组每天灌服等量生理盐水,灌胃容积为0.5mL/100g体重。结果:AEFE用药6周后显示,各剂量组血清胆固醇、甘油三酯和游离脂肪酸、谷丙转氨酶和谷草转氨酶均较模型组明显降低(Plt;005),肝组织丙二醛含量降低和超氧化物歧化酶活性升高,肝脂肪变性和炎症反应减轻,尤以中剂量组作用最明显(Plt;001)。AEFE对肝内肿瘤坏死因子α浓度无明显影响。结论:AEFE改善高脂性大鼠肝脏脂肪变性,此作用可能与其降血脂、抗氧化损伤有关。

  • Effects of Local Content of Nitrogen Monoxidum on Bile Reflux in Rats with Pylori Stress Ulcer

    Objective To investigate the effects and possible mechanism of the local content changes of nitrogen monoxidum on bile reflux in rats’ pylori stress ulcer. Methods Fifty adult SD rats were restrained in planes and then were soaked in cold water to make stress ulcer. They were divided into three groups randomly: the stress group (30 cases), the L-NAME group (10 cases), whose pylori were injected with L-NAME solution and the normal saline group (10 cases), whose pylori were treated with saline solution. Besides, there were another 10 rats taken as the control group. The gastric ulcer index, pH value and bile acid concentration of gastric juice in each group were measured before and after stress. The local concentrations of nitrogen monoxidum in rats’ pylori were also measured by nitrogen monoxidum Biochemical Detection Kit. Results The local content of nitrogen monoxidum in rats’ pylori increased to maximum at 1 h after stress (P<0.01), while the bile acid and pH value of gastric juice went up to the maximum at 2 h after stress (P<0.01). The ulcer index reached the peak value at 4 h after stress (P<0.01). The bile acid concentration and ulcer index of the group injected with L-NAME solution in rats’ pylori decreased significantly compared with those of the group treated with normal saline solution (P<0.01). The local concentration of nitrogen monoxidum also decreased significantly in the L-NAME group (P<0.05). However, there was no difference on pH values of gastric juice between those two groups (Pgt;0.05). Conclusion There is a positive correlation between the local concentration of nitrogen monoxidum in pylori and bile acid in the stomach in rats with stress ulcer. Injection of L-NAME solution in rats’ pylori may reduce the local content of nitrogen monoxidum so that the pyloric sphincter become less tense, which may lead to the significant decreases of ulcer index and bile acid in the stomach. Thus, L-NAME may protect gastric mucus effectively.

  • STUDY ON PATHOGENESIS AND TREATMENT OF STRESS ULCER IN RATS

    Objective To investigate the relationship among rats′ stress ulcer and gastric acid, prostaglandin (PGs) and adrenocorticotropin (ACTH) and to probe the pathogenesis, prophylaxis and therapy. Methods Rats′ stress ulcer model was made by cold water soaking and was properly treated with drugs such as hyoscine, dexamethasone, ranitidine and losec. The amount and pH of gastric juice, change of gastric mucosa and PGs and ACTH of blood were determined. Results After rats were fasted for 24 hours a little gastric juice was aspirated. After cold water soaking of rats gastric juice was increased with the pH decreased, there was gastric mucosal bleeding, blood PGs was decreased and ACTH was increased. These suggest that on stress gastric mucosa bleeding is related with decreased gastric juice pH, decreased PGs and increase ACTH.Conclusion To control stress ulcer, pH of gastric juice and amount of PGs should be increased. Losec can increase gastric juice pH, so losec is the first choice to control stress ulcer.

  • Change of Cyclooxygenase-2 Expression in Different Stress-Related Gastric Mucosal Diseases

    目的 探讨不同病因导致的应激性胃黏膜损伤时胃黏膜环氧化酶(cyclooxygenase,COX)-2表达强度的变化及二者的关系。 方法 通过建立急性甲胺磷中毒及急性心肌梗死动物模型,采用胃黏膜溃疡指数评定是否发生胃黏膜损伤,采用免疫组化方法测定胃黏膜COX-2的表达强度变化。 结果 ①成功建立大鼠急性甲胺磷中毒及急性心肌梗死动物模型;②在急性甲胺磷中毒及急性心肌梗死这两种应激状态下胃黏膜发生了损伤;③不同病因所致应激性胃黏膜损伤时胃黏膜COX-2表达增加。 结论 临床危重疾病可产生应激状态胃黏膜损伤,胃黏膜溃疡指数增加。不同病因所致的应激性胃黏膜损伤时胃黏膜COX-2表达增加,可能为一种保护机制。

  • Thioredoxin-1: A potential target for prevention of heart-related reactive oxygen species injury

    Reactive oxygen species (ROS) play an important role in the pathogenesis of various cardiovascular diseases, by leading to cell apoptosis and thus causing organic injuries. Anti-ROS therapy is highly anticipated, but currently, there is still no appropriate prevention method. Studies have shown that thioredoxin (Trx), being a kind of significant endogenous antioxidant system, has excellent antioxidant capacity. Promotion of Trx can reduce key biomolecules to eliminate ROS or regulate many signaling pathways, thus resisting ROS injuries, which may be a new anti-ROS strategy. Therefore, we reviewed the research progress of Trx in cardiac antioxidant therapy to discuss its potential and possibility to be a target for prevention of heart-related ROS injury.

  • The Efficacy Analysis of Severe Brain Injury with Gastrointestinal Stress Ulcer Bleeding

    目的:通过对61例重型脑伤合并消化道应激性溃疡出血的内科综合治疗,评价其疗效在治疗中的地位。方法:对61例重型脑伤合并消化道应激性溃疡出血的患者进行内科综合治疗,分析其疗效。结果:消化道应激性溃疡出血一般发生在入院的2~6 d,占观察例数的86.9%(53例),出血后,在治疗的两周内痊愈42例(占68.9%)。结论:重型脑伤合并消化道应激性溃疡出血是临床危急重症,积极的了解和祛除病因,持续监控,积极的、有效的综合治疗,能取得满意的疗效,提高痊愈率和患者的生存质量。

  • Effect of Mental Nursing for Operation Patients with Earthquake Trauma on Their Rehabilitation

    Objective To observe the effect of mental nursing for operation patients with earthquake trauma on their rehabilitation. Methods Eighty operation patients with earthquake trauma were randomly divided into two groups: mental nursing group and conventional nursing group. Psychological consult was used in the mental nursing group. Results were recorded by psychologic test, investigation questionnaire and nursing statistics. The measuring scales included SCL-90, HAMD and HAMA. Results The degree of satisfaction in the mental nursing group was obviously higher than that in the conventional nursing group. The scores of depression and anxiety in the mental nursing group were lower than these in the conventional nursing group. The length of hospital stay in the mental nursing group was also shorter (Plt;0.05). Conclusion  Mental nursing could reduce dysphrenia in operation patients with earthquake trauma and facilitate their rehabilitation.

  • Advanced Oxidation Protein Product Reflects Oxidative Stress in Patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea-Hypopnea Syndrome

    Objective To investigate the implication of oxidation protein product ( advanced oxidation protein product, AOPP) , an index of oxidative stress in obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome ( OSAHS) . Methods 47 patients with OSAHS and 48 normal controls were enrolled. The concentration of AOPP was measured by spextrophotometry after ameliorated, while superoxide ( SOD) , malonaldehyde ( MDA) , glutathione peroxidase ( GSH-PX) in morning blood samples were detected by Xanthine oxidase test. Results ( 1) Plasma AOPP and MDA were significantly elevated in OSAHS compared with those in control group ( both P lt;0. 01) . Plasma SOD and GSH-PX were significantly lower in OSAHS compared with those in control group ( both P lt;0. 01) . There were significant differences in the plasma AOPP, MDA, SODand GSH-PX among different severity of OSAHS ( all P lt; 0. 01) . Plasma AOPP and MDA were increased and SOD and GSH-PX were gradually decreased with the progression of OSAHS. ( 2) Plasma AOPP correlated well with MDA, SOD and GSH-PX, moreover, AOPP was positively correlated with apnea hyponea index or lowest oxygen saturation. Conclusion AOPP is an alternative index reflecting both oxidative streess and tissue injury in patients with OSAHS.

  • Development of information overload severity scale in the situation of coronavirus disease 2019 epidemic

    ObjectiveTo compile the information overload severity scale in the situation of coronavirus disease 2019 epidemic, and evaluate the reliability and validity.MethodsFrom February to March 2020, according to the procedures of literature analysis, semi-structured interview, and expert consultation, an initial scale was formed; and then the online scale was measured, and the scale items were screened based on the measured results of the scale. The reliability was evaluated by Cronbach’s α coefficient, and the validity was tested by exploratory factor analysis.ResultsThere were 8 items in the initial scale. The scale items were screened based on the degree of dispersion, the correlation coefficient with the total score, and the factor-load-related indicators, and finally a 7-item scale was formed. The factor analysis results of the scale showed that one component could be extracted from the scale, and the reliability analysis showed that the total Cronbach’s α coefficient of the scale was 0.863.ConclusionThe information overload severity scale has good reliability and validity, which can provide strong support for related research after the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 and other major public events.

  • Hippocampal subfield volume alteration in post-traumatic stress disorder: a magnetic resonance imaging study

    In the current study, we aim to investigate whether post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is associated with structural alterations in specific subfields of hippocampus comparing with trauma-exposed control (TC) in a relatively large sample. We included 67 PTSD patients who were diagnosed under Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (4th Edition) (DSM-Ⅳ) criteria and 78 age- and sex-matched non-PTSD adult survivors who experienced similar stressors. High resolution T1 weighted images were obtained via a GE 3.0 T scanner. The structural data was automatically segmented using FreeSurfer software, and volume of whole hippocampus and subfield including CA1, CA2-3, CA4-DG, fimbria, presubiculum, subiculum and fissure were extracted. Volume differences between the two groups were statistically compared with age, years of education, duration from the events and intracranial volume (ICV) as covariates. Hemisphere, sex and diagnosis were entered as fixed factors. Relationship between morphometric measurements with Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale (CAPS) score and illness duration were performed using Pearson’s correlation with SPSS. Comparing to TC, PTSD patients showed no statistically significant alteration in volumes of the whole hippocampus and all the subfields (P > 0.05). In male patients, there were significant correlations between CAPS score and volume of right CA2-3 ( R2 = 0.197, P = 0.034), right subiculum (R2 = 0.245, P = 0.016), and duration statistically correlated with right fissure (R2 = 0.247, P = 0.016). In female patients, CAPS scores significant correlated with volume of left presubiculum (R2 = 0.095, P = 0.042), left subiculum (R2 = 0.090, P = 0.048), and left CA4-DG (R2 = 0.099, P = 0.037). The main findings of the current study suggest that stress event causes non-selective damage to hippocampus in both PTSD patients and TC, and gender-specific lateralization may underlie PTSD pathology.
