ObjectiveTo explore the current situation of the readiness for hospital discharge and the quality of discharge teaching in lung cancer patients based on enhanced recovery after surgery, and to analyze their correlation.MethodsWe conducted a cross-sectional study and 141 postoperative patients with lung cancer in our hospital from July to August 2018 were investigated by general information questionnaire, readiness for hospital discharge scale and quality of discharge teaching scale. There were 65 males and 76 females at age of 18-85 (55.35±12.15) years.ResultsTotally 88.65% of postoperative patients with lung cancer reported that they were ready for discharge, and the total score of readiness for hospital discharge was 78.36±16.48, and the total score of quality of discharge teaching was 90.94±18.62. There was a positive correlation between the readiness for hospital discharge and the quality of discharge teaching in postoperative patients with lung cancer (r=0.57, P<0.01).ConclusionThe readiness for hospital discharge of postoperative patients with lung cancer keeps in medium level, while the quality of discharge teaching is good, and the readiness for hospital discharge is positively correlated with the quality of discharge teaching. Medical staff should pay more attention to the cognitive level of lung cancer patients' disease-related information and their physical function recovery, and enrich the discharge guidance content, in order to improve the readiness of postoperative patients with lung cancer.
Comprehensive evaluation research of Chinese patent medicine (CPM) is performed to demonstrate the comprehensive value of CPM from multiple dimensions and to clarify the clinical value and positioning, so as to provide references for decision-making in health or drug policies. Therefore, to standardize and promote comprehensive evaluation studies on CPM, the current guideline introduced the specific requirements on the applicable subject, basic principles, and major evaluation content, thereby providing guidance for researchers in the future.
【Abstract】 Objective To assess the impacts of bedside accompany behavior on the quality of video-electroencephalography (VEEG). Methods A total of 214 patients underwent 24-hour VEEG monitoring from July to September 2008. Each patient had a bedside-accompany family member. The behaviors of accompany included sitting at the bed, using mobile phone, clapping, and kneading the patients, which were evaluated after the first and second nursing education. Results Sitting at the bed, using mobile phone, clapping, and kneading the patients influenced the quality of VEEG. After the first education, the occurrences of the above unfavorable behaviors were 62.3%, 55.1%, 30.4%, and 20.1%. After the second education, the unfavorable behaviors reduced 78.4%, 75.4%, 78.5%, and 79.1% respectively; the VEEG quality improved. Conclusion Proper bedside accompany behavior may improve the quality of VEEG monitoring.
ObjectiveTo discuss the effect of synthesized physical nursing care on the treatment of meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD) patients. MethodWe collected 100 MGD patients between March and September 2014, and randomized them into conventional and synthesized physical nursing care groups with 50 patients in each. We evaluated the subjective symptoms, the break-up time of tear-film and the function of lacrimal gland secretion before and after treatment. We surveyed the satisfaction of these patients during the follow-up. ResultsCompared with the conventional nursing care group, the synthesized group had less clinical symptoms, longer break-up times of tear-film and better lacrimal gland secretion function. The results showed remarkable statistical significance (P<0.05). ConclusionsSynthesized nursing care has significant effect on the treatment efficacy of MGD outpatients.
