  • Visual analysis of domestic and international thyroid cancer nursing research based on CiteSpace

ObjectiveTo explore the research hotspots of thyroid cancer nursing, and provide reference and guidance for future research on thyroid cancer nursing. MethodRelevant literature on thyroid cancer care was retrieved through the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Web of Science (WOS) Core Database, and then analyzed the data using CiteSpace 6.2R4 software. ResultsThis study included a total of 1 096 Chinese literature and 263 English literature. The total number of publications was on the rise. The top 10 keywords in CNKI were: surgery, anxiety and depression, perioperative care, quality of life, complications, postoperative care, clinical pathway, rapid recovery surgery, differentiated thyroid cancer, and psychological care. Except for rapid recovery surgery, the centrality of other key words was greater than 0.1. The top 10 keywords in WOS were: quality of life, management, 131I, papillary thyroid cancer, surgery, impact, anxiety, prevalence, risk factor, and differentiated thyroid cancer. Among them, quality of life played an important intermediary role in co-occurrence networks, with the highest centrality of 0.34. ConclusionsQuality of life, mental health, perioperative period, and papillary thyroid cancer are research hotspots in thyroid cancer care both domestically and internationally. The management of quality of life and symptom management are the development trend of future research. Further research on thyroid cancer care needs to be strengthened, and important measures should be taken to address clinical issues and promote the recovery of thyroid cancer patients. We should strengthen domestic multi center cooperation, expand the breadth and depth of research, and promote the prosperous development of thyroid cancer nursing.

Methods Literature related to hospital performance published from 1972 to 2022 in the Web of Science Core Collection was retrieved. Microsoft Excel 2021 was used to analyze the annual publication volume of English literature in the field of hospital performance. CiteSpace 6.1.R6 software was used for co-occurrence analysis of countries/regions, institutions and authors, research hotspots and frontiers. Results A total of 1447 articles were ultimately included. The analysis of annual publication volume showed that the overall publication volume in the field of hospital performance was on the rise. The co-occurrence analysis of countries/regions indicated that the United States had the highest output of academic papers (548), followed by the United Kingdom and China (120 and 89 respectively). The most productive institution was Harvard University in the United States, and the most productive scholar was Harlan M. Krumholz from the Yale University School of Medicine in the United States. The most frequently occurring keyword was “care”. The clustering analysis of keywords revealed that the keywords in the field of hospital performance research were clustered into 12 categories. The top 5 keywords with the highest burst intensity included “acute myocardial infarction” “indicator” “US hospital” “predictor” and “administrative data”. Keywords such as “public hospital” “financial performance” “performance measurement” “framework” and “organizational performance” began to emerge in 2020 and had continued to the present. Conclusions The research hotspot in the field of hospital performance has shifted from focusing on individual performance to organizational performance. • Visualization analysis of microfluidics research status

Microfluidics is the science and technology to manipulate small amounts of fluids in micro/nano-scale space. Multiple modules could be integrated into microfluidic device, and due to its advantages of microminiaturization and controllability, microfluidics has drawn extensive attention since its birth. In this paper, the literature data related to microfluidics research from January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2021 were obtained from Web of Science Core Collection database. CiteSpace 5.8.R3 software was used for bibliometrics analysis, so as to explore the research progress and development trends of microfluidics research at home and abroad. Based on the analysis of 50 129 articles, it could be seen that microfluidics was a hot topic of global concern, and the United States had a certain degree of authority in this field. Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University not only had a high number of publications, but also had strong influence and extensive cooperation network. Combined with ultrasonic, surface modification and sensor technology, researchers constructed paper-based microfluidic, droplet microfluidic and digital microfluidic platforms, which were applied in the field of immediate diagnosis, nucleic acid and circulating tumor cell analysis of in vitro diagnosis and organ-on-a-chip. China was one of the countries with a high level of research in the field of microfluidics, while the industrialization of high-end products needed to be improved. As people’s demand for disease risk prediction and health management increased, promoting microfluidic technological innovation and achievement transformation is of great significance to safeguard people’s life and health.
